After everything good in his life is suddenly stripped away, Job expresses his pain and despairs of life itself. This shows us the reality that God may at times lead true believers into very dark places. When we see others experiencing those hard times we can be a friend who shares in their sorrow; when we are in those places ourselves we can hold on to God knowing that he is for us and with us.
