Kids Church

Seeing children grow in their love and knowledge of God is one of the great delights of church. At St Aidan’s our programs are safe, age appropriate and gospel-centred, and are a great environment for your kids to make friends, and have fun while learning about the God who made and loves them.

Safe

At St Aidan's your trust is something we do not take lightly, or for granted. All of our volunteers are approved and trained in conduct protocol 'Breaking the silence' to provide a safe experience for your children. We will ask you to fill out an enrolment form, and Tiddlers (preschool aged kids) as well as K-2 kids need to be collected by a parent or older sibling, from the hall or Tiddlers room.

Age appropriate

Children stay in church for the first part of the service which includes a kids talk, song and prayer. Then Kid's Church begins with All Together Time before dividing into four different groups categorised by age. High schoolers are encouraged and supported to begin easing their way into staying in church to listen and reflect on the sermon.

Gospel-centred

For all age groups we use teaching material from "The Gospel Project for Kids" As we partner with parents in teaching kids about Jesus it is our aim and prayer that your children will love coming to church and learning about God's grace toward them in Jesus Christ.

For parents with young children

There is a parents room available at the back of the church for those with babies. Here you can have some privacy while still hearing the service. Additionally for parents of toddlers who may need to wander outside during the service, bluetooth headphone sets are available in the foyer so you don’t miss out on hearing the Bible taught.
