This Easter weekend we consider from 1 Corinthians the unexpectedness of the Easter events. God makes himself known through the seemingly foolish message of the cross and the unlikely event of the resurrection. It may be surprising, yet it is these events that meet our greatest need and bring the promise of eternal life.
