In Hebrews 7 we return to the theme of Jesus being our great high priest. We’ve heard of Melchizedek earlier in Hebrews, now we see that he is the model that foreshadowed the reality that has arrived in Jesus. Jesus is the better priest who is also King who lives forever at God’s right hand.
