Below are details of the regular services held at St Aidan's. We extend a warm welcome to all..
9:00am Traditional Church
Our 9:00am Sunday Morning service is a service with traditional hymns and bible teaching.
Morning tea follows the service to allow you to get to know others more informally.
10:30am Family Church
Our 10:30am service is relaxed, modern and family friendly with a focus on solid Bible teaching. There is a special part of the the service especially for the children after which the Kids Church leaders take them for a fun time of teaching and craft. During the holidays, 'kids packs' are provided during the service for the children.
A crying room is available for those with very young children.
Morning tea follows the service in the church grounds to allow you the opportunity to build relationships.
5:00pm church@five
This is a casual family service for all ages with a kid's ministry called Club 5.
After the service each week we take the opportunity to build our friendships over dinner in or outside the hall.
During the week
We have a network of 'small groups' that meet weekly for Bible Study, fellowship and support, as well as
youth programmes, kids programmes, and other groups.
About small groups...
A number of small groups meet in homes during the week to study the Bible,
pray together and grow together in fellowship.
There are women’s groups run with crèche during the day, an older women’s group during the day and groups for women at night. There are men’s groups on weeknights and weekend. There are mixed groups also on weeknights, two especially for the under 35’s.

Mens Ministry
A group of men from all three congregations have begun meeting to organize ministry amongst men. They are presently identifying a vision, aims and strategies for this
ministry.
They organize regular social events to give men in the congregation a chance to deepen friendships, encourage men to get together around God’s Word so they can grow together as disciples of Christ, and they will be putting together events that help men reach out to their mates who don’t know Jesus.
There is already a growing network of Men’s Bible Study Groups. And some of our men meet for one-to-one encouragement. We encourage all our men to hook up in these ways, as well seek to grow in Christ-likeness.

Womens Ministry
Rationale: Because women are best able to relate to women,
it is a ministry that is particular to women, and by women, that complements the overall mission of the church.
Vision: To help women of all ages at St Aidan’s, with God’s help, to know Christ and make Him known.
Goals:
1. To guide all women to maturity in Christ through clear and faithful teaching of the Bible.
2. To enable Titus 2:3-5 to be fulfilled at our church.
3. To foster each and every woman’s growth in godliness, through obedience to the Scriptures, through wise and gracious relationships and through opportunities to serve.
4. To encourage the women of our church to love, support and practically care for each other.
5. To encourage the women of our church to be praying together, for each other, our church and our world.
6. To encourage, equip and provide opportunities for women to develop and use their
gifts for ministry.
7. To encourage women to build friendships beyond the church family, and to provide opportunities for having these friends hear the gospel clearly presented.
Strategies
1.To encourage each woman to join a small group/Bible Study Group and/ or PWA.
2.To encourage each woman to attend the PWA’s Time Out Day, Katoomba Women’s Convention and/or our own WINGS Conference.
3.To explore the idea of our own Women’s Bible Teaching Retreat.
4. To hold at least one ‘whole church’ (cross congregational/ generational) event each year, where younger women can learn from older women.
5. For each congregation to hold at least one ‘friendship building’ event each year.
6.To provide opportunities for training in ministry skills by intentional ‘apprenticeships’ and at least one specific training initiative a year.
7. To have at least one ‘whole church’ women’s evangelistic event each year.
8. For each congregation to have at least one evangelistic event each year.
